Since 2015, Pastor Kurtis and I have had the privilege of traveling to South Africa ministering the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our journey has been filled with incredible, God-ordained moments and the joy of meeting many God-loving brothers and sisters in Christ. Thanks to our connection with Pastor Albert Wiggins and the congregation of Logos Assembly of God in Cape Town, we had the honor of visiting Nababeep in the Namakwa District during our most recent visit in 2023. We were introduced to the congregation of Nababeep Assembly of God and their pastors, Peter and Nadia Diomi. We learned very quickly of Pastor Peter’s heart for God’s people in this region and how he is helping to spread the love of God, through the preaching of the Gospel to the surrounding communities, one of which is the community in Concordia.

Concordia is a small, rural community with approximately 6,000 residents. Despite the high unemployment rate and challenging circumstances, the people of Concordia have shown incredible resilience and unwavering faith. Unfortunately, some do not have the means to travel to the nearby town of Nababeep to attend worship, so Pastor Peter has embarked on an ambitious journey to build a church—a sanctuary where they can come together to worship and experience the love and grace of our Lord Jesus.

However, due to financial constraints, it is estimated that it will take the community five years, to complete the construction of the church. While on the aircraft, traveling back to the United States, I couldn’t stop weeping for that region. Feeling  impressed to help the people of Concordia, I heard a still small voice say, ‘Daisy, will you build me a church?’. I couldn’t shake it, as I told Pastor Kurtis what I felt the Lord was directing me/us to do. Never have we attempted such an endeavor, but obedience and faith requires action. This is where we believe we can make a significant difference, and we are inviting you to join us in this mission.

With the help of generous donors like you, we can accelerate the construction of the church in Concordia. Your support will not only aid in building a physical structure but will also help in building hope, faith, and community. By contributing to this endeavor, you become an active participant in the work of the Kingdom.

Your donation, no matter the size, will have a lasting impact on the lives of the people in Concordia. Your generosity will bring joy and hope to a community in need, and together, we can witness the amazing work God will do through this new church, thus fulfilling the mandate of the Great Commission.

Destiny International, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) organization, so your contributions are tax-deductible. This ensures that your generosity is recognized and rewarded, both spiritually and financially.

It is estimated that the total cost to complete the church building is only $30,000 USD. Pastor Kurtis and I are asking you to pray for us as we, by faith, extend our hands across continents to help bring hope the those in need. Secondly, we ask that you pray and ask the Lord’s direction as to what you should contribute to this effort. Together, we can build HIM a house of worship for THEM.

We are excited to share that Pastor Kurtis and I will be returning to South Africa in October. We will personally bring the donations with us to bless the community of Concordia. Your support will be a tangible expression of God’s love and will greatly accelerate the completion of the church.

Would you join us on this mission? Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of our brothers and sisters in Concordia, South Africa. Your generosity will bring joy, hope, and a place of worship to a community in need.

Thank you for your time, your prayers, and your consideration. May God continue to bless you abundantly as you extend His love to others.
